Deep Isolation and several collaborators recently founded the world’s first international Deep Borehole Demonstration Center to develop and execute projects that will help advance the technical readiness of deep borehole disposal.
To commemorate this milestone, Deep Isolation will perform an initial test at the newly established nonprofit Center in Cameron, Texas. This test marks the first step in the Center’s mission to advance the maturity of the safety case for deep borehole disposal.
We are inviting you to observe the test of our specially designed lifting adapter for a prototype PWR-size disposal canister with a non-radioactive simulated payload. The test will demonstrate the lifting adapter’s compatibility with standard oil and gas industry lifting equipment for use in deep borehole disposal operations.
